Circles and Stones

Arts/Crafts

About: My style reflects the concept of wabi-sabi--finding beauty in imperfection and symmetry in asymmetry. I love well worn stones, hand crafted beads, antique and ancient beads and glass. The colors and shapes of the stones are my inspiration. As they sit on my workbench I notice how they mingle with each other and find new and interesting ways to combine the stones into mini works of art. I love simplicity and will often highlight one stone, one color, or one shape.
I use the lost wax method to create jewelry out of silver. The outcome is very organic and imperfect. My 3 girls have watched and helped me grind, polish and pound the silver.
I have been making jewelry for 12 years and have yet to run out of ideas or inspiration.
